GitHub as a governed connection — not a token in the request.
A GitHub connection uses a personal access token or a GitHub App stored as credentials. Development and operations processes call the GitHub API through that connection, for your organization only.
How GitHub is wired
GitHub connector. Used from admin and from process tools — not as a substitute for Ansible workspaces.
GitHub connections
Register the connection in admin. Default API base is api.github.com; credentials stay in the sensitive credential wallet.
PAT or GitHub App
Personal access tokens and GitHub Apps are supported credential shapes. They are not copied into agent instructions.
Automated process tools
A tool step selects the GitHub connection and operation. Organization, role and access still hold the call.
Used by website checks
A website project can pick this connection and its repositories from a live list — the same GitHub the delivery loop uses after a remark.

Website checks
A guest or a colleague writes. The team changes the website. Someone says yes. The pages go live. Then a real browser opens them, walks the path a visitor would, and brings a screenshot back to the team. That is website checks: the last look before you trust the change.
Connectors
The platform composes tools, capabilities and connections: MCP, REST, SQL, GitHub, SSH, Ansible, Terraform, WinRM/PSRP and other deployed connections. Calls go through organization policy and sensitive credential references.
Automated processes
An automated process is more than a diagram on a canvas. It defines what happens, in what order, under which conditions and when a person needs to step in. You can combine information retrieval, decisions, business-system actions, approval and delivery of the result into one repeatable process. Once designed, the AI can run that process consistently.
